- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. When developing certain designs, good reference material will aid the creative process. But finding good reference is easier said than done at times. So in this movie, I wanna share with you a methodology I learned from an art director I used to work with. He did it in analog, and we're gonna do the same thing using easier digital methods instead. So let's get started. And our reference material was just found photography to kinda compile a very crude image that's more useful for proportions than it is exactly shape and form. But it's gonna guide our efforts. And I like to call this graveyard reference, meaning all the various parts come from different sources. They have nothing to do with one another, and I'm kinda just compiling them together to give myself a framework to draw from, if you will.
