(gears grind) - [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. This movie is based on a question I received asking, what is the quickest way to build vector artwork? Well, I have to be honest and say that's kind of a loaded question because it depends on what you're trying to create. You might be trying to create artwork on something that is very complex in which case it's going to take you a long time. So I'm going to approach this question from a generalized mindset, meaning in this movie, I'm going to show you how to think through your shapes and then build the final vector artwork quickly and achieve a nice aesthetic look and feel as well. And these are principles you can apply to any type of project to make the whole process in general go a lot faster. And so I had to pick a topic. Nothing was really recommended here so I decided I'm going to create, for lack of a better term, an illustrated logo and in this case it's for a floral shop. And so I came up with the name…
