Creating a sewn-on letter effect

- This week, we're going to get ready for school. We're going to create a collegiate letter and put it right on to a denim jacket. We're going to sew it right on there. So I have here a file, in which I have a layer, in which I have this big yellow B. That's going to be the letter we're going to sew on to this jacket. So let's just turn that guy off for now. And I'm going to create a new layer, right on top here. And I'm going to take that layer and I'm going to go ahead and fill that with a 50% gray. Click OK. It's got a 50% gray. This layer, I'm now going to give a filter. So I'm going to go up to my Filter Gallery and I'm going to go right there into the Filter Gallery, and not Texture, but I'm going to go over under Sketch and choose Halftone Pattern, and set it to Line. Now the default is, it's set to, you can have circles, you can have dots, but I'm going to set it to Line. It's going to give me these lines. Click OK. There's my lines.
