Creating an oil painting effect from a photo

- This week, we're in need of a nice oil painting. Well, we can go out and get a bunch of oils and do one, or we could just work with an existing photograph and save a lot of time. So here, right now, on the screen, we see a photograph I took in Paris. It's not a very fantastic shot, it's just a shot. I like to take a lot of shots for all kinds of reasons. There's all kinds of materials that can be used, and parts of it and so on, and in this particular case, it's going to be perfect for the subject of turning this into a oil painting. So, now, what we're going to do is first, modify the image itself in quite a few ways to start getting our oil painting. So what I'm going to do is I'll take the Background, I'm going to duplicate it right there, and in that Background copy, I'm going to do a little Find Edges. I'm going to apply the Filter, and then I'll come over here and say Stylize, Find Edges, and it created that kind of a pencil drawing kind of a thing. So let's go in there and…
