Creating non-breaking text

When you have paragraphs of text inside of your document, Illustrator can use hyphens to help solve spacing problems. That means, for example, maybe I only have room for a part of a word on one line. Instead of having a wide gap or extra space, I'll simply hyphenate, I'll have a few letters, and then I'll have a hyphen, and then I'll finish the word on the next line. However, there may be times when you want hyphenating to happen and to occur in your document, but there are certain words that for some reason you don't ever want those words to be hyphenated. A really good example is maybe your company name.

You have maybe your company name appearing many times throughout a brochure. You definitely want type to look good, so you want it to hyphenate throughout the brochure, but there is never a time where you ever want your company name, which might be a trademark name, to actually appear with a hyphen inside of it.
