- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. In this movie, we're going to create organic-feeling vector art styled to celebrate the new year. Specifically, the Chinese New Year. So let's get started. It all starts for me, and this was the thumbnail sketch for the idea I had. This year is the year of the pig, so I wanted to create a design that reflected that. The nice thing about this thumbnail sketch is that this is all the drawing I have to do. I usually refine stuff, but in this case, we're doing it very organically. We don't need it anymore precise than what's shown here. So this was the rough sketch. The only thing I did do is I took this, brought it into Photoshop, and I just associated it with a square, and just adjusted the angle and sizing just so it fit a square a lot closer.
