- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to create a new document inside Illustrator, and this document can be a single page illustration or it can contain multiple pages, as we're about to see. Now, there's two ways to approach this. If you're not seeing the start screen, then you can just go up to the file menu and choose the new command, which has a very standard keyboard shortcut of Ctrl N here on the PC or Command N on the Mac. If you are seeing the startup screen, which I can bring up by clicking on this workspace option, which reads essentials by default, and choosing start. Then you have the additional option of clicking on the new button, which retains that keyboard shortcut once again of Ctrl N or Command N on the Mac. And that's going to bring up the recently revamped new document dialog box. Now, initially, you're going to see thumbnails for the most recent kinds of files you've created, but notice you also have these additional groups of presets, so for example, if…
