Join Bert Monroy for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating the frame of a bike, part of The Making of Amsterdam Mist: The Vehicles.
- Here we see a closeup of the front part…of the frame of the bike on the far left.…So now we see how these areas are welded together.…They are usually pretty rough in the welding…and then they're covered up with a lot of paint…just to kind of hide some of that stuff.…But we go in here and we look at the Paths,…and there's the paths, all the paths for the body.…And we see that this is a path and these are a path.…Now, if we were to look at these as individual pieces,…this is a separate rod…and these two are on a totally different layer.…
Okay, so that's what we're going to do now.…We're gonna go in here,…I'm gonna turn off that main guy in the back there…and then right here in front of the background,…I'll create a new Layer…and I'll call this Layer, "vertical rod".…And we're gonna get those paths, there they are.…So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna select that one path…right here which makes up that vertical rod,…and I got a gray, which is the gray that I used…for that particular bike, already selected.…
What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take that path…
