Creating and editing open path outlines

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to create and extend open path outlines using the curvature tool, and we'll see how you can extend closed path outlines as well, which is interesting. But first I need to clear up a lie from the previous movie, notice that each one of these deselected points is hollow, that tells us that these are all smooth points, which means this guy up here at the top is not a corner point like I advertised, and sure enough, if I drag that point down you can see that the segments curve smoothly through that point, which is not what we want. And so, if I want to convert it to a corner point, I need to double click on it, and notice that we now have a corner, and so I'll just go ahead and drag it up here, and if I switch focus to a different point, you can see that we have a tiny dot inside of this anchor point, which tells us we now have a corner point.
