Creating the down in vectors
- This next part of the illustration we're gonna deal with now is the down part of the feathers. Now as the feathers go into the headdress right above the area that secures them to the headdress is the down part of the feather. That's like the soft fluffy look if you look at a photograph of a headdress. You'll see that, it's usually white or it's a brighter color. Even though this style and aesthetic is hardcore, sharp edge and plays off the whole tattoo motif, we're gonna represent that area just using some simplified forms and some of these can be built using the shape building method. So we're gonna go ahead and do that. The first one is we'll just create this little shape here. I'll start like that. And like that, so once we have this created, what we can do is we can select this shape and we're gonna select this circle. This gets a little confusing seeing on screen but I think it will make sense once I walk you through it. We're gonna make sure this first ellipse shape is on top.…
