- [Instructor] Did you know that Adobe Illustrator has over 80 different tools to choose from. That is an insane amount of tools. And when rebuilding something as specific as an icon I would recommend that we try and ignore the tools that we don't need as much as possible. Because frankly, we can only lose time going through all these different tools. And the perfect way to do this is by creating our own set of tools dedicated to icon design. Here inside of Adobe illustrator I have a blank document open and I have my basic tools here on the left-hand side. Now, if you want to see even more tools just go up to the window menu, choose toolbars and then choose advanced which will show you all of the tools. Now, if you want to take a closer look here if you click and hold down on any of the tools you see here that has a little triangle in the corner, just click and hold down on the tool and you'll see even more tools.…
