Creating cusp points with the White Arrow
- All right, so far all of our Cusp Points occur exclusively between curving and straight segments which is relatively simple. Don't worry, if it doesn't seem simple so far it's going to get way easier as you gain more experience. But now in this movie, I'm going to show you how to create more sophisticated Cusp Points that represent corners between pairs of curved segments such as this point here with its two independent control handles. As well as these points at the tip of the droplets which helped to represent the juicy flesh of the orange. As you'll see, you make these points by first converting the corner to a smooth point and then breaking the link between the control handles with the wide arrow tool. All right, the first thing we're going to do is create these waving segments in the middle of the orange.
