- [Teacher] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. You'd think in an age of high-definition video and displays that the venerable animated GIF would have already been relegated obsolete, but this simple graphic format keeps chugging along, so in this movie, I want to showcase how to create simple animated GIFs using Illustrator and Photoshop, together. Not only that, the specific project that is going to be the key focus in this movie is one that I created a set of stickers for iOS on the iPhone for the Message app. Now, those are technically animated GIFs, or actually animated PNGs, but that's using C++ coding language in order to showcase those images, but the same exact principle applies, so you'll be able to actually learn both if you ever want to develop your own sticker set, for what it's worth.
