- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. Not all vector artwork is pure creativity. A keen eye to craftsmanship, how you go about building certain content, is what separates the pros from amateurs. So in this movie, we're going to focus intently on the Pathfinder tool and the methodology based off of that area of the label. And the name of this specific product was called Barrel Reserve. It was about taking old wine barrels and using 'em to ferment their product in to give it a certain flavor and a certain profile, that is. And this, because it had grapes and a barrel, that was what I drew out to reflect that. Now, when I'm creating artwork like this, I don't immediately jump to the Pen tool. So, for example, on this barrel, it was just two elliptical shapes, intersected it with the Pathfinder, then I just took this shape, a rectangle shape, lopped off the top, took this rectangle shape, make sure it's on top, lop the bottom off, and there you go.
