- [Instructor] Welcome to Drawing Vector Graphics Laboratory. Once you created a design or illustration you like, you usually wanna share it with others. In this movie, I'm gonna show you how I save out images to post on Instagram. It's a little unorthodox, but it's proven to work really well. So let's get started. The first thing I wanna cover is the Document Color Mode. You wanna make sure you're in RGB mode. You don't wanna save out, for example, CMYK-based JPG images. I didn't even know you could do that until about a few months back when I accidentally did it a few times and wondered why the color wasn't looking correct when I posted it online. Well, it was because I was exported out my images from Illustrator from a CMYK-based file and so the colors stayed CMYK when I saved out JPGs.
