- [Tony] The makers of Fontself believe that type is and should be a form of self-expression. The tools should exist to make it easier to use applications that you already know, like Photoshop and Illustrator, to create fonts without having to learn a whole other setup and application. Fontself makes it easy to create fonts to use yourself, but also has enough depth to be able to make fonts for commercial use. For me, this is just like the pre-dawn of the desktop publishing revolution, when fanzines and such-like were assembled using scissors, glue, and photocopiers. Fontself is rock and roll for letter forms and type, so welcome to typocracy.
