- [Instructor] What we're gonna do this week is create a somewhat surreal cosmic scene. Now, what I want to do is basically, kind of like a lunar landscape with this big sculpted head coming out of the sand right here. That's what we're going to do. So, we're gonna start with this image right here, all right, so it's just one of these throwaway shots from a cross country trip, out to the white sands and so on, but this is gonna be perfect for our lunar landscape. So the first thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go in here and take away some of its color, so I'm gonna go to adjustments, go to hue saturation, and pull back the saturation so it starts to become this kind of a gray, monotone kind of a thing here. I'm gonna go into my levels, and I'm gonna go in and punch up some of the contrast here. Let's get some of these whites, so I have a little more contrast happening. Like that. That's looking good. Now, I want this to be a starry sky because this is kind of like a moon, right, no…
