Create a stroke with variable width using the Width tool

- [Instructor] It's now time to change the width of the trunk by creating a stroke with variable width. Press the V key to activate the selection tool. Select the trunk path, then head to the tool bar to select the width tool. The width tool will allow you to create points with variable width along the segment. Head back to the path. When hovering on the path you can see a little white diamond shape appearing alongside the path. The diamond is a preview of where the width point will be placed once you click on the stroke. I'm going to place one right at the bottom of the path then drag outwards to make the stroke width larger at the bottom. And then I'm going to add another one towards the top. This time I will drag inward to make the path thinner. You can move and modify each width point at any time. Just like so.
