Create a grid from an object mosaic

- [Instructor] In the previous movie we saw how we could create a grid-like abstraction of our image using the Gradient Mesh tool. In this movie, I'm going to do something similar, but with an Object Mosaic. I'm using an image that will still be just about recognizable, even after we have abstracted it. Let's select the image. I should mention that the image needs to be embedded. If you're working with a linked file, you need to first embed it before you can come to Create Object Mosaic. Now, in terms of the number of tiles, I'm going to retain the aspect ratio of the image, and I'll have 40 in width, and 60 in height. Delete Raster, I have checked to delete the original image. I'll click Okay. And then I get this very pixelate looking result. That may be as far as you want to go with this, but I'm going to take it a little bit further. I'm going to ungroup everything, and I'm going to come choose Ungroup as many times as I need to, until I can upgroup no more. And, what Illustrator…
