Converting strokes to closed paths

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to draw this path outline, the one that represents the mustache and the smile line, and we're going to do so by drawing it initially as a combination of two variable width strokes, and then we're going to convert those strokes to a single closed path outline. Alright, I'll go ahead and switch over to our illustration thus far, and I'll turn on the template layer, so we can see that tracing template, and I'll start by creating the smile line. And I'm going to base it on this wrinkle right here. So I'll press the A key to switch to the white arrow tool, and then I'll go ahead and zoom in a little bit. And I'll click on this path outline to select it. Now I'm going to duplicate it. Since it comprises two anchor points and nothing more, I'll duplicate it by dragging this top anchor point over to this position right here, maybe a little bit farther down, and then I'll press the Alt key, or the Option key on a Mac.
