- [Instructor] A really nice feature in Illustrator is the ability to convert anything into a guide. This is something that you can't do in InDesign and you can't do in Photoshop. And one scenario for using this feature is when you want to indicate the amount of clear space around a logo, the distance that you need between the logo and any other element that is on the page. And this is best done if you take an element within the logo, the signature element of the logo, and use that to determine how much space there should be. So, I am going to take the star and duplicate that to the top and then get my Reflect tool and come and reflect a copy of that over the center point of the enclosing square, reflecting this across the horizontal axis and copying it. Then I'll select both of those stars, and I will copy them and paste in front and then spin that copy around through 90 degrees.
