Convert colors to grayscale with control
- [Instructor] We have this beautiful finished Bigfoot illustration here by Von Glitschka. We'll use it to explore a few different ways to convert color graphics to gray scale or black and white. You probably already know the method where you select all of the art and go up to edit. Under edit colors you find convert to gray scale. So that method works but you have no controls over what happens and typically you'll end up with something that looks a little bit flat. So let's explore some ways we can do this using recolor art. I'm going to do a command z or a control z to bring us back to the color version of this. Recolor art is great because it gives you some controls over how these colors are going to look. And the first way that we'll try this out is with this color group grays. It may be the best reason to keep the color group grays in your swatches panel.
