To complete the Friends screen, Andy walks you through duplicating and modifying the friend item created in the previous chapter. Andy also shows how, by using layers, you can suggest elements that scroll in the prototype.
- [Narrator] Okay, now we're going to complete…the friends screen.…So this one should be really simple.…Let's just zoom in to this screen.…And what I'd first like to do is maybe…just hide the sketch here and take this line,…and just, just bring it down a bit.…Just so there's a bit more of a gap.…A bit more spacing around this element.…And what I could do, is press M on the keyboard,…and just create a rectangle.…And I'm not going to give it a stroke, or a fill,…I just want it to be a kind of place holder element.…
Just so I can line this up correctly.…So I'll group this with everything selected.…Command + G.…And what we'll do is we'll just hold down alt,…shift + drag out a copy.…And we'll just drag that down,…so that it lines up, and it's snapping with other elements.…Which is a little bit annoying,…but now we've got it in the right place.…And release that now.…All I need to do now to be sure that…it's going to duplicate in the right place is…just press command + D, and just keep duplicating this down.…
There we go.…
