Color models in Illustrator

- [Instructor] For this movie, I've included the file that I'm using in the exercise files for you to examine later, but there are some tools used here that you haven't learned yet. So you don't need to follow along. Just sit back and take it all in. Okay? Good. So Illustrator does support a handful of different color models, along with a couple of other ones tucked away in places for various reasons and during certain processes. But essentially, you're looking at the four main options. So when you're creating or adjusting color, you can use grayscale, you can use RGB, you can use CMYK, and you can use HSB. And you access those controls pretty much anywhere you find color. So here, for example, in the Color panel, also in the Swatches panel if you're creating a new swatch. When you're working with gradients and you're double-clicking for stops, you can access color from there. And the colors change depending on what you…
