Clipping effects inside objects

- Alright, when we last left off, our shadows were leaking outside of our cube of cubes. What we want is for the individual cubes to cast shadows onto each other, but not out into the void. And so the solution is gonna be to create three levels of cubes. One that conveys the bright glow, another that casts the shadows, and then a third that serves as a clipping mask. And so I'll go ahead and switch over to my documents so far, and I'll click on one of the purple cubes to select the entire group. And then I'll hide the other ones by going up to the Object menu, choosing Hide, and choosing All Artwork Above, which will make the red, green, and blue cubes disappear. Alright now we want to create a copy of these guys by going up to the Edit menu and choosing the Copy command, or you can prease Control+C or Command C on the Mac. Now you want to go over to the Appearance panel, which for me is still on screen in the lower left corner. And I'll double click on the word Contents in order to…
