Changing the corner type

- In this movie, I'll show you how to switch between corner types. Now by default, you have a corner that rounds inward. But it could just as easily round outward or bevel off. And to see what that looks like, I'll go ahead and marquee these interior points using my white arrow tool. And that will give me a corner widget for each and every pair of cusp points. And now, I'll go ahead and double-click on any one of those corner widgets to bring up the Corners dialog box. And notice, you can change the radius value from inside this dialogue box. For example, I could take it up to 40 points if I like, but I also have these three corner types to choose from. By default, we're looking at the round setting, but you can also go with inverted round to produce this effect here, or chamfer. Now, chamfer is essentially a mechanical engineering term that refers to transitional beveled edges.
