So far we've been using the Paintbrush tool to create our lines and paths in Illustrator. I wanted to mention that underneath the Paintbrush Tool, there is another tool that's related to the paintbrush, called the Blob Brush. The Blob Brush is the exception to the standard method of creating paths. This tool creates outlines and filled shapes as you draw. If you're a long-time user of Illustrator, you may recall the added steps of having to draw with a standard paintbrush tool and then create outlines from selected paths. The Blob Brush tool actually behaves more like a real life paintbrush than the traditioanl Paintbrush Tool does. The Blob Brush uses the item as a fill instead of a stroke, so you don't have to expand. If I go ahead and draw a line with the Blob Brush Tool, and then I draw another line that intersects it, and we go and select this new line, you can see that both lines are selected, and it actually selects…
