Blend tricks
- [Instructor] Illustrator allows you to blend two objects together to create a continuous blend between those objects. Let me show you a few techniques and tips for working with blends. Now I'm gonna start up here in the upper left corner of this document, and I'm gonna come down here and grab the Blend Tool. And so, if I want to blend these two shapes together, which is just a blue shape below a white shape, I'm just gonna click once on the blue shape, and then once on the white shape, and Illustrator is gonna blend those two objects together. Now by default Illustrator does what's called a smooth blend, and with this selected if you go to the Object menu, under Blend and choose Blend Options, you can see that it uses Smooth Color. Now we have other options in here that I'm gonna go over, so for now I'm just gonna hit Cancel. Now another way that you can create a blend is by simply selecting two objects, and coming up to the Object menu and choosing Blend, Make. And you can see this…
