Assigning a style to an entire layer

- [Voiceover] In this movie, I'm gonna show you how to assign a graphic style to an entire layer. And so here's the idea. I really want these polygons to be in line with the word obey. So right now, the text is getting rotated around its center, while the polygons are each getting rotated around their centers, and as a result, everything is out of kilter. So I'm gonna press Control + Z, or Command + Z on the Mac, until I return to my original boring gray polygons. And so the solution, by the way, is to style the entire layer. And so one way to work is to return to the Layers panel, and twirl open that Type layer, which contains both of the polygons, as you can see represented as Compound Paths, as well as the text. Then what you wanna do is grab that circular meatball right there, which appears sculptured because it has dynamic effects assigned to it. And then you wanna go ahead and drag it and drop it on to the circle for the layer in order to produce this effect. The problem is that…
