- Now if you're looking to add a little more visual interest to your aircraft profile, why don't you just do what the pilots did back in the day, and that's just add some nose art to it. In this case, you can see that I have a reference photo here and it's a simple nose art, just a hand drawn letters there. Across the tail here there's a little prancing horse and then maybe a little checkerboard there at the nose. You could certainly recreate something like this and if you wanted to do that, I typically put this on a different illustrator document, just so I don't mess anything up in my original aircraft profile. If you don't want go for historical accuracy, you just want to create your own artwork, well that's pretty much the same thing. I have another document here that I'm going to open up called markings and here's just a couple of markings that I have come up with, that I think I want to incorporate into my aircraft profile.
