Apply and edit texture effects
- [Instructor] Texturino's Texture tool and panel allow you to apply textures as live effects to vector artwork, placed images, or live text. The effects are non-destructive and they're easy to adjust. So let's see how to apply and edit textures with Texturino. In our file here, we have this antique watch and let's say we wanted to get a sense of aging by making this solid color fill not so perfectly uniform. I'll select the object with the fill and then click on the Texture tool. This opens the Texture panel and the main part of the panel has controls for viewing and choosing textures. Above that are buttons for adding a texture to a selected object, replacing a texture applied to an object with a different texture, resetting the parameters of an applied texture to their defaults, removing an applied texture, and importing new textures.
