Anchor points, segments, and control handles

- In this movie, we're gonna review some path terminology just to make sure that you and I share a common vocabulary, whether we're talking about working in Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop. Specifically, we're gonna take a look at the three main elements of the path outline, which are Anchor Points, Segments, & Control Handles. So as you can see here, I have this path outline, and if I click on it with the Black Arrow tool, I end up selecting the entire thing. I drew this path with the Pen tool, but really, it doesn't matter what tool you use to create the path in the first place. All path outlines are treated the same. So, Consider this free-form path, It has two flat edges, right here, and one big up-and-down looping curve. Now let's say we Click on that path with the Black Arrow tool, as I did just a moment ago, and You can click anywhere along the path outline that you like, in which case, You will now see its anchor points and segments, and notice that the Anchor points appear…
