- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how you can save yourself an awful lot of time by applying advanced transformations. When I say advanced, I don't mean new fangled. These features are old as the hills but one of the great things about Illustrator is it's got a lot of core drawing stuff right in the first place. We're going to use these advanced transformations to copy this left eye and create the right one. So I'll go and switch over to my document of progress here, I'll zoom out a little bit so I can see both of the eyes and then I'll partially marquis the paths I've drawn so far with the black arrow tool. The first thing we need to do is reflect the eye. Your typical approach might be to right click somewhere inside the document window. Choose transform and then choose the reflect command in order to bring up the reflect dialogue box.
