Adding segments to a Bézier curve
- [Narrator] In this movie, I'll show you how to add segments to a Bézier curve. And so, here we are still armed with the Active cursor, which we can tell because after all we're not seeing the sparkle. And so, what you want to do is click and drag once again, and as before, the click is going to determine the location of the anchor point, and the drag is going to result in two opposing control handles, and you're also going to connect the new point with the previous one with a curved segment. Now, generally speaking, you'll want to continue dragging at which point the segment updates on the fly. Now, I want you to remember that the current handle is going to control the next segment you create, and the opposite handle is going to control the new or, if you prefer, previous segment. And so, the moral of the story, and this is very important to keep in mind, is that you want to draw your path in a consistent direction.
