Adding graphics to your business card

One of the first thing that I do when I'm working with a business card, is I always bring in the company logo and or graphic first. That way I've got that well placed and I've got it sized exactly the way I want it, and I can make text float around it or compliment it. Because ultimately, the logo or the icon is what people recognize when they first see the card in the first place. The rest of it is all just secondary information. And so what I'm going to do, I'm going to be working on this inside of Illustrator. You can have this open in any other program you want. I have several different versions of the image, saved out in your exercise files folder that I'm getting ready to open. I'm going to go the File menu here and chose Open. And, inside of the images folder I have several different versions, and AI, an EPS and a PNG. So if you're working in Illustrator, you would use probably the AI file or the EPS file. You could also use the PNG if you're working in programs like Photoshop.…
