Activating Adobe Fonts

- [Instructor] Fonts used in an Illustrator document need to be available on the computer in which you're opening the file. Fortunately, if you use Adobe Fonts, they can be easily activated. In a document containing missing fonts, the missing fonts will be highlighted in pink, as you can see here in this document. You'll be presented with the Missing Fonts dialog box, making you aware of which fonts are missing. If you happen to close this dialog box, you can reactivate it by going to the Type menu and choosing Resolve Missing Fonts. If those missing fonts are Adobe fonts, you can activate them by clicking the Activate check box to the right of the font name. Click the Activate Fonts button to activate the fonts. Note the notification that appears when the fonts have been activated. Once activated, you can close the Missing Fonts dialog box. To explore and activate additional Adobe fonts, choose Type, More from Adobe Fonts.
