Hi! My name is Mordy Golding and welcome to Illustrator Insider Training Coloring Artwork. Many of us take color for granted. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that we don't spend a lot of time thinking about color. As designers, color is an important part of just about anything that we create, but it's more than just a fill attribute. I'll discuss the many ways that you can actually define and organize color in Illustrator, then we'll explore a world of color inspiration where we can build piles of colors that work perfectly for any task.
Once you've a solid understanding of how Illustrator thinks about color, I'll show you how easy it is to manipulate and modify colors at will. I'll even show you how to convert colors to grayscale and grayscale back to color, and help you understand basic color management improving settings. As with all Illustrator Insider Training courses, I'm assuming that you already have some basic familiarity with Illustrator, if not, I suggest that you first take a look at one of my other courses in the lynda.com Online Training Library, Illustrator CS5 Essential Training.
Now are you ready for a splash of color? Great! Let's dive into Illustrator Insider Training Coloring Artwork.
