- There is no secret to improving your drawing skills. You simply start, never stop, and continue to improve and grow with time. So let me share with you how Jared Chapman uses his drawing skills to create his wonderful artwork. I've been following Jared Chapman's work for quite a few years now, since I first met him. And I really love how he uses texture within his illustrations. He basically draws with texture. So he uses Photoshop Brushes in Photoshop to compose his illustrations. Drawing out all the various content using different brushes. Now if you want to know more about Photoshop Brushes, Lynda has a few courses on those you can check out. But I also highly recommend some Photoshop Brushes by a guy by the name of Kyle. If you Google "Kyle Brushes" you'll find him. They're incredible.
