- Welcome to day two of the five day drawing challenge. Today's drawing challenge theme is drawing on rocks. The earliest form of drawing known to man were done on cave walls. The visuals drawn on these rocks told the diverse range of stories or captured images that have endured for ages. So once again, we are turning to nature to provide us with a drawing surface, and that is rocks. Rocks come in all sizes and shapes and can be found in almost any environment. Your challenge today is to find a handful of rocks and then draw on them. Your subject matter can be whatever you like, and you can incorporate the shape of the rock into your overall concept if you want. You'll want to use a paint pen to make drawing on the rocks easier. That'll also provide a better contrast than a pencil or black marker. Have fun with this challenge, and take your time experimenting with your drawings.
