Day 1 challenge: Drawing letterforms
- Welcome to Day One of the 5-Day Drawing Challenge. Today's drawing challenge theme is Drawing Letterforms. We've all written out letterforms in the course of our daily lives whether it be writing a letter, taking notes in a meeting, filling out a form, or writing a check. Needless to say, we've all written out millions of letterforms, but how many of those letterforms were truly drawn out in a creative way? Today's challenge is to pick a word from the following list and draw out the word making each of the individual letterforms a living creature: Monster, Nature, History, Wonderful, Garden, or Crazy. This challenge is a form of hand lettering, so you can use upper or lowercase letterforms. Whatever you prefer. Think about what you're going to draw before you draw it. Get clever with how you approach this challenge and let creativity run wild. I look forward to seeing what everyone creates for this challenge, so be sure to share your drawing on social media using the hashtag #5DayDraw.
