- So, how did your caricature drawing come out? Have you ever drawn a caricature before? What was the hardest part for you? I have to admit, these aren't easy and when I was looking at doing this my daughter begged me to do it for me because she loves drawing caricatures. So I let her do it. So let me share with you how she handled this challenge. When she started off, she loves a certain TV show, she watches that has the actor Danny DeVito in it. This was her initial sketch of Danny DeVito and I remember her bringing this into my studio and showing me this sketch and I just gave her a few pointers where I thought she could improve on. Yes, I did art direct my daughter and this was her initial sketch, she took this and using a brush pen she inked out this final artwork in black and white. Once she had this she scanned it in and then she actually blew it up larger on a print out so that she would have a larger piece of artwork to colorize. This is when she moved from analog, took it…
