Cutting out the head, body, and tail

- This brings us to step number 2, and that is now you're going to cut-out what you've just drawn on cardboard. And once again, you can use the scissors or the X-Acto provided. There is a cutting mat you can use to cut those out on. If somebody is using a cutting mat, you can also use, either cut on glass if you're watching this at home, you don't have a cutting mat, or you can take an extra sheet of cardboard, put it underneath if you're using the X-Acto to cut pieces out. So, at this stage, I cut out my characters, these are the two examples shown here. And now you have seven minutes to cut-out what you've just drawn on cardboard, so you need to cut-out your head, body, and if your character has a tail, it's tail. (cardboard cutting) By the end of this course, you should have fully developed ninja-like cutting skills. You have about three minutes left.
