Cutting the arms and hands

- Now that we're done with drawing our arms and hands, we're going to move the step two, which is cutting them out. In this case, my character had six arms, so I only had to cut out one and trace it and cut it out five additional times. Your character might not have so many arms. In this case, I created what's essentially his second pair of legs. He didn't have arms on this character, so that's OK. So now you have 10 minutes to cut out your arms and hands for your monster. (cutting noise) - I got these little tentacle guys and I was thinking they'd stick out this different ways. - Yep So what do you do with the back? He's just facing forward. - Yeah, you don't have to worry about the back, so if you want to, you can just put little slits here and then they can, kind of be oriented like that or whichever way you want to do it. Does that make sense? - Oh OK. - So you can put slits, you can either put the slits here, in which case they stand out to the side, or you can put a slit here…
