Creating scary add-ons
- So now that we're done with inking our arms and hands, this brings us to the fifth stage, which is creating scary add-ons. Now, when I say scary add-ons, I'm talking about horns, wings, anything that you can kind of add to your monster to make him more engaging, more scary, if you will. In this case, here's this monster. This was the "Dragon Dog," is the character I call him, and he has add-ons already. He has horns. He has wings. But I created an additional add-on, a symbiotic add-on, if you will. It's his little buddy "Eagle" that sits on his nose. You can do anything you want in terms of creating add-ons for your characters. Here's another alien crab character I created and the add-ons for this character are the horn coming out of his forehead and the mandibles coming out of the side of his head. However you approach add-ons is up to you. So right now you're going to be taking your character, in this case my character that has six arms, I didn't draw his eyes when I drew his head…
