- [Instructor] Here we see the last ITIL V3 or 2011 Edition Certification Scheme prior to ITIL 4. It was based on a point system, and made up of 5 levels. Foundation, Practitioner, Intermediate, Expert, and Master. Let's compare this to the ITIL 4 scheme. As of Q1 2019, Axelos has introduced the ITIL 4 Certification Scheme shown here on the right, along with making available the first module in the exam in the scheme, ITIL 4 foundation. Note that the ITIL V3 certification scheme, shown here on the left, will coexist with the ITIL 4 scheme through at least mid-2020. This coexistence will allow individuals and organizations who currently have V3 certification paths in play to complete those paths, while the remainder of the ITIL 4 modules beyond Foundations are introduced, between Q2 2019 and mid-2020. Comparing these two scheme diagrams, you should see that the ITIL 4 scheme retains Foundation and Master's levels, but replaces the associated content with ITIL 4 materials. And two new…
