What to expect on the exam

- [Instructor] You must achieve a passing score in the Lean IT Foundation exam to gain the Lean IT Foundation certificate. The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions. You get 60 minutes to complete the exam; that's a minute and a half per question. If you take it in a language that's not your mother tongue, you'll get an extra 15 minutes. You must submit a certificate of completion or badge from an accredited training provider when you sign up to take the exam, or you'll not be permitted to sit. The course is supervised, either with an in-person proctor or with a proctor who's online and remote. The exam is not open book, although when you sit the exam, you'll have the opportunity to write down some notes as you take it. You'll need to get 26 out of 40, or 65% right to pass. To make sure you do, it's essential that you take all the provided sample exams and check and understand the rationale for correct answers for any you got wrong.
