- [Instructor] In RACI it is important that there be one accountable owner, only one A for anything, and for that owner to do their job, they need the right skills and right authority. Think about it, if you asked me to be the problem manager, and most problems require money to fix, and I'm at the wrong authority level to ask for and get money, I probably won't be successful. And if I lack facilitation skills, I probably won't run a great major problem review meeting either. So let's move on to the application. This time we'll apply the second way with an emphasis on empowerment. List the 26 processes, four functions, and your services. For each, add columns. Only one accountable owner and owner has the right skills and authority, mark with yes, no, don't know. Where skills are lacking, add a column noting what skills and authority are lacking, where applicable.
