This is the base technology behind everything from voice searches on Alexa to chatbots on various websites. Let's take a look at a simple example of how this works, shall we? To start with, I'm in the 02_04_Data file. Now, this data just represents an earnings call transcript for the department store Macy's. This is essentially just everything that Macy's executives told investors on one particular quarterly earnings report. And we can see there's a lot here, right? We don't need to go through and read it to know this is very long. Traditionally, the way we've done this in investment analysis is go through, read the quarterly transcript and then try and decide what the implications are for the stock or the company in question.
