From the course: Using Public Health Data Sources

Working with COVID-19 data

- [Jennifer] During the COVID-19 pandemic, we've learned that the source of your data is incredibly important. If you have great data, that data can tell you a story, and you can make informed decisions. But in many cases, knowing how to access data is the key. In this course, I want to help you understand what data is available to get insight into the pandemic and which data sources you can use to avoid common bottlenecks and obstacles. My name is Jennifer Shin. I'm the founder of 8 Path Solutions. I'm on faculty at New York University, and I'm a practicing data scientist, entrepreneur and thought leader. If you're interested in working with the COVID-19 data sets, this is the opportunity to hit the ground running, learning about the data sources that are currently available and how you can access them.
