- [Narrator] Much of what makes mobile devices like phones and tablets so useful is the fact that they communicate wirelessly. From the cellular connection to Wi-Fi to closer range technologies like NFC and Bluetooth, our phones are wireless superstars. And because they contain some of our most sensitive personal information, they're also a treasure trove of data for attackers. In this episode, I want to talk about the various ways you can ensure your phone security against various kinds of wireless attacks. Aside from the cellular connection, which we generally don't have much control over, the most common wireless feature most of us use on mobile devices is the Wi-Fi connection. At home, at work, at coffee shops, at airports at hotels and at any number of other places, we hop onto Wi-Fi to save cellular data and get a faster connection. At home, we can be pretty sure that the connection is secure and that there aren't any sneaky people trying to capture or read our communications…
